  • App usage patterns and feature interactions

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Process your resume data through AI models to generate tailored content, ATS scores, and cover letters.
  • Manage your account and subscriptions.
  • Send service-related communications (e.g., password resets, account notifications).
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and abuse.

3. AI Processing

When you use AI features (tailoring, ATS scoring, cover letter generation, resume review), your resume data and job posting text are sent to third-party AI providers (OpenAI and Anthropic) for processing. These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and do not use your data to train their models. We only send the minimum data necessary to perform the requested AI operation.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) — to process AI features, as described above.
  • Payment processors (Apple, Stripe) — to process subscription payments.
  • RevenueCat — to manage in-app subscriptions and entitlements.
  • Hosting providers — to store and serve your data securely.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CVFit, our users, or others.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and access controls to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data stored in the Service.
  • Correct inaccurate personal data.
  • Delete your account and associated data.
  • Export your resume data as PDF files.

Our website uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. The iOS app does not use cookies.
