1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CVFit ("the Service"), including our website and iOS application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CVFit is an AI-powered resume builder that helps users create, tailor, and optimize resumes for job applications. The Service includes resume creation, AI tailoring, ATS score checking, cover letter generation, and PDF export.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

CVFit offers free and premium subscription plans. Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store (for iOS) or through our website. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings or your CVFit account settings.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account or payment method at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you provide to the Service, including resume data, personal information, and other materials ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant CVFit a limited license to process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate and modify resume content. AI-generated content is provided as suggestions and may not always be accurate or appropriate. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-generated content before using it in job applications.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Create resumes containing false or misleading information.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Share your account credentials with others or use another person's account.
  • Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and code, is owned by CVFit and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will meet your specific requirements. We do not guarantee that using our Service will result in employment.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CVFit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new terms on our website or through the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
